Developing our Future Poster
This documentary follows a group of young people from underrepresented backgrounds as they embark on a summer program focused on the world of commercial real estate. Taking inspiration from architectural drawings the poster to show how elements combined can create a more profound whole. In this film, the combination of inclusion, youthful curiosity, and unhindered access create a foundation for learning that shapes the lives of those featured in this film.
The Unencumbered Life of a French House Fly Poster
This micro-short takes the viewer on a journey as they spectate the life of a housefly taking residence in the French countryside. Much like the film, the poster design takes inspiration from the aesthetic of the 70s to create a minimalist, no-nonsense, typography-first design.
Keen Observer: Morton Levin Poster
This short documentary film follows 10 decades of art creation in the life of the artist, Morton Levin. From sketching in notebooks during WWII to his exploratory days in NYC and San Francisco, we learn about his life and what defines him as a great artist. Using his self-portrait as the main focus, I wanted to build a sense of environment that makes the viewer feel as though they were in Levin’s studio flipping through his work.
Ambassadors of Hope Poster
Life is severe in the slums of Kenya and art therapy has been proven to treat PTSD for the locals affected. This film tells the story of how art can help children deal with the hardships they unfortunately endure every day. A mural painted by the main character in an effort to process the violence they suffered served as my inspiration for the poster. I created two characters, a mentor and mentee, who hold hands as they walk into the distance toward a better future and away from a traumatic past.
The Ruth Brinker Story Poster
This short documentary follows the life of the legendary activist Ruth Brinker. During the 1980s AIDS epidemic, Ruth fed dying men meals at a time when no one else would help them. The organization she founded back in the 80s still lives on and helps countless people have access to nutritional food. Ruth was the backbone of Project Open Hand and therefore is prominently featured on the poster.
