Remember how sad you felt when Frosty melted? Well, that’s actually happening in real life, thanks to climate change. Dying snowmen are the topic of this mockumentary for Cool Effect. Warm temperatures force snowmen to migrate north to cooler climates, leaving friends and family behind. This film brings to light this dire situation and asks for your help. Our campaign was centered around our mockumentary which launched with a full social and digital campaign to help spread awareness. Snowmen proved the perfect spokespeople to talk about climate change in a unique way for the holidays and helped make a big impact on the brand.

This 3-minute mockumentary highlights the effects climate change is having on the snowmen population and in turn, the rest of the world.


The Real Face of Climate Change
Climate change is often depicted through a series of impactful and sometimes alarming images that illustrate the consequences of global environmental shifts. Images such as deforestation, rising sea levels or air pollution. While alarming, these photos are now everywhere and the public has grown numb to them. How can we break through the daily clutter and barrage of the same old images?
We use snowmen, a universal symbol of joy and hope.



Web Experience
The website is the hub for the Save Our Snowmen campaign. Here you are able to watch the short film, learn more about the plight of the snowmen and how that relates to climate change. Donating is the first step on how you, as an individual, can help fight climate change.

Save Our Snowmen Social
Social media teased the release of the short film before it’s release and highlighted how important action was needed now, not later. Through the social campaign we were able to not only drive awareness of the film but also the brand.



Missing Poster
We posted missing poster for the snowman, Mr.Flakes, around cities to promote the campaign and raise brand awareness.
